I was able to figure out a way to remove a chunk of a mountain using unreal engines landscape tools, they way you do it is you decrease the visibility of a material causing it to vanish when clicked. If you just try to use the tool it will come up with an error. To make it work you have to add a node to the material this node is called the “LandscapeVisibilityMask” it gives the user the ability to tamper with existing assets.
